Casspern Nyovest Set To Snub South African Music Awards (SAMA) Again

Rapper Cassper Nyovest has declared that he will be snubbing the South African Music Awards for the third year in a row.

The award-winning rapper has been at loggerheads with SAMA since 2015 after the awards failed to acknowledge his superhit single Doc Shebeleza.

Cassper on Twitter says after a long deliberation at his office he has decided not to participate in 2018’s edition.

“I didn’t submit Thuto (his latest album) for the Samas. It’s been a long debate at the office and as much as I love making the fans happy, I’m just over the Samas. I wish I could just perform and not take part in the award ceremony. I just love putting on world-class performances, you know.”
